By accessing or using VetNote, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our service.
VetNote is operated by Tupek Kamil Nowak, NIP: 6172197279, a business registered in Poland. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VetNote.
2. Description of Service
VetNote provides a digital platform for pet owners to:
- Store and organize pet health records
- Track vaccinations, medical history, and veterinary visits
- Manage medications and appointment reminders
- Upload and store medical documents
- Securely share pet health information with veterinarians
3. Account Registration
To use VetNote, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
4. User Responsibilities
When using VetNote, you agree to:
- Use the service only for lawful purposes
- Provide accurate information about your pets
- Not share your account with others
- Not attempt to access other users' data
- Not use the service to transmit harmful content
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
5. Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: VetNote is a record-keeping tool, not a medical service. VetNote does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information stored in VetNote is for organizational purposes only.
Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical advice regarding your pet's health. Do not delay seeking veterinary care based on information stored in VetNote.
VetNote is not responsible for any decisions made based on the information stored in the application.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to VetNote (including pet photos, documents, and health records). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content to provide the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content and that it does not infringe on third-party rights.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure. You acknowledge that you use the service at your own risk.
We recommend keeping your own backups of important medical documents and not relying solely on VetNote for critical medical records.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- System updates and improvements
- Technical issues beyond our control
- Force majeure events
9. Pricing and Payment
VetNote is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce premium features or subscription plans in the future. Any changes to pricing will be communicated in advance, and you will have the option to continue using free features or upgrade.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the Settings page. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms or engage in harmful behavior.
Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may request a copy of your data before deletion.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VetNote shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or data corruption
- Decisions made based on information in the application
- Delays in veterinary care
- Any damages exceeding the amount paid for the service
12. Intellectual Property
VetNote and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Tupek Kamil Nowak, NIP: 6172197279 and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on VetNote without our written permission.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of VetNote after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Poland. For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply.
